What is nutritional therapy?

Think of it is like a ‘Personal MOT’. It is a natural approach to health, which uses dietary changes, sometimes accompanied by nutrient or herbal supplementation to promote good health, prevent disease or help manage more serious conditions. Advice on healthier lifestyle choices is also provided. It is a therapy based on scientific medical research, which utilises the latest developments in nutritional medicine, but does not ignore the age old concept of food & nature’s ability to heal the body. A personalised treatment plan is devised to tackle your health goals and may target the following:

  • Establishing what underlying issues could be affecting your well-being, possibly through testing.
  • Correcting dietary and nutrient imbalances, which may be impacting on your health.
  • Improving digestive function to optimise nutrient absorption through the gut.
  • Slowing down the progress of any chronic conditions or ageing by increasing nutrient intake and gently detoxifying the body.
  • Nutritional and lifestyle recommendations to help your body cope with stress.
  • Increasing your energy levels and vitality.
  • Restoring hormonal balance in the body.

What to Expect?
